Piero C. Dallarda
Piero Dallarda is a litigator who focuses on natural resources, land use and toxic matters, but handles a variety of other disputes on behalf of both public and private clients. A partner at Best Best & Krieger LLP, Piero also has experience in Government Torts Claims Act, governmental immunities and civil rights litigation.
Piero handles environmental cases involving challenges under the National Environmental Policy Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation Recovery Act and inverse condemnation. He worked for the cities of Corona, Azusa and Colton, as well as the Riverside County Transportation Commission, the Western Municipal Water District, the Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority, the Riverside and Pomona unified school districts and numerous other public agencies. Piero also represented California Steel Industries, American Electric Power, Southern Ohio Coal Company, Broad Street Oil and Gas, British Petroleum, several agricultural interests in Northern California and other private entities.
Before joining BBK, Piero practiced in Washington, D.C. and Columbus, Ohio in the Litigation Department of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur. Piero is a lieutenant in the Argentine Navy reserves. His native languages are Spanish and Italian, but he is also proficient in French. Piero published articles regarding environmental litigation, land use and the use of alternative dispute resolution methods in environmental cases.
