Wilma Escalante

Wilma Escalante is a paralegal in the Bankruptcy practice group of Best Best & Krieger LLP.  Wilma has an extensive legal background of more than 30 years’ experience in the fields of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, complex commercial litigation, pre- and post-judgment remedies, as well as real estate transactions.
 
At BBK, Wilma primarily assists attorneys with drafting and preparation of bankruptcy pleadings and documents such as motions, orders, fee applications, demand letters, adversary proceeding complaints and proofs of claim.
 
Prior to joining BBK, Wilma worked at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP as a bankruptcy and litigation paralegal. She also worked on real estate transactions and intellectual property trademark matters. Wilma also worked for a boutique law firm where her primary focus was on judgment enforcement.
