BBK’s Cheryl Leanza Quoted in Communications Daily
Article discusses the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals’ rejection of parts of the FCC's 2020 Wireless Siting Ruling
Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK) Of Counsel Cheryl Leanza was quoted in Communications Daily regarding the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals’ rejection of the FCC’s Wireless Siting Ruling from 2020.
Leanza, who argued the case for local government entities, noted, “BBK’s local government clients, many of whom provided the resources to challenge the FCC’s expansion of the 6409 rules in the challenged 2020 Order, are pleased with the Ninth Circuit’s decision today in League of California Cities v. FCC.” She added, “BBK is thoroughly reviewing the decision and will consider next steps. Given Chair Rosenworcel’s and Commissioner Starks’ dissents, it would make sense for the FCC to immediately take action to implement the ruling.”
