BBK to Sponsor and Present During 2025 AEP State Conference
Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK) to participate as a sponsor and present during the 2025 California Association of Environmental Professionals 2025 AEP State Conference April 6-9 in Oxnard, California. Five BBK environmental and CEQA focused attorneys will address various topics affecting municipalities in 2025. Of Counsel Hannah Park will kick off the conference providing insight on how to “crack the code” of cumulative impacts. Partner Amanda Daams and Associate Megan Kilmer will highlight best practices for preparing environmental documents with a focus on housing projects. Partner Amy Hoyt will provide an overview of the recent Make UC a Good Neighbor v. UC Regents case and the fundamental changes affecting how university housing projects are evaluated under CEQA. To close out the conference, Associate Anya Kwan will provide insight and the latest information on the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulations on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (“PFAS”) and their impacts on industry and municipal services.
