Ana Schwab One of 26 Women to Receive Prestigious Award
Director of Government Affairs and Of Counsel Ana Schwab, who practices in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, has been recognized as one of the “Emerging Women Leaders in Law” by DCA Live for 2024. DCA Live’s 2024 Power Women in Law named 26 female attorneys who practice in the Washington, D.C. region and are emerging as leaders at their respective law firms and within the community.
Schwab’s commitment to working with communities, special districts and stakeholders on matters regarding water, wastewater, environmental and infrastructure issues is one of the many reasons she has been recognized as an “Emerging Woman Leader in Law.” She has been instrumental in the passage of land transfer legislation and amendments to legislation regarding primary water and infrastructure funding and regulatory policy, as well as other pieces of legislation and amendments. Additionally, Schwab has secured federal funding for water, wastewater and recycling projects. She continually works with key stakeholders on developing funding and infrastructure solutions for cross-border water pollution.
