HongDao Nguyen Appointed to California City Management Foundation Board
Nguyen succeeds Mike Jenkins, a municipal attorney at BBK and long-time California City Management Foundation member.
Best Best & Krieger Municipal Law Partner HongDao Nguyen has been appointed as a member of the California City Management Foundation’s (CCMF) Board of Trustees. The CCMF Board currently consists of 15 members who are responsible for recruitment, identifying industry trends and implementing initiatives that support the goals of city managers.
HongDao assists public clients in transactional and litigation matters concerning municipal government, focusing on land use and public records law. She serves as city attorney for Artesia and Stanton, and as assistant city attorney for Aliso Viejo, Lake Forest, and Signal Hill. Known for her responsiveness and vast insight regarding public agencies, HongDao assists municipalities in navigating the legal issues like the Brown Act and the California Public Records Act, and staying current with evolving laws to ensure compliance.
