Best Best & Krieger Water and Environmental Attorney Joins Southern California Water Coalition Board
Wang’s Water Rights Knowledge and Insight Exemplified by SCWC Involvement
Wendy Wang, of counsel in Best Best & Krieger’s Los Angeles office, has joined the Board of Trustees of the Southern California Water Coalition (SCWC). Wendy joins as a member of the business sector comprising of 14 members focused on educating the business community about California’s water resources.
“The opportunity to support an organization that directly correlates with issues I handle for my clients on a regular basis does not present itself often,” said Wendy Wang. “It is a honor to join the business sector of SCWC to further promote the importance of water issues and the resources available.”
Wendy’s appointment as a Trustee further solidifies her commitment and representation of water agencies. She works with public and private clients on matters involving water law, Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, the Resource Conversation and Recovery Act, Proposition 218, Air Quality Management District rules and regulations, and public works projects.
