Join Best Best & Krieger at the NALEO 14th Biennial National Institute for Newly Elected Officials. NALEO Educational Fund is a national, non-partisan organization whose constituency is made up of the nation's Latino elected and appointed officials. BBK attorneys Albert Maldonado and Henry Castillo will present on ethics and government in an engaging, game show plenary in the style of Jeopardy! highlighting some of the many issues policymakers face. The speakers will discuss grappling with First Amendment freedoms, due process, equal protection, public meeting laws, ethics, rules of engagement and general legal topics.
