Christopher Moffitt

Christopher Moffitt is a litigator in Best Best & Krieger LLP's Business practice group. Working from the firm’s Riverside office, Chris handles a broad range of matters for clients.
 
Business and Contract Litigation
Chris works closely with both public and private entities to find favorable resolutions to challenging business disputes. He has experience with a wide range of civil matters, including breach of contract, class action, unfair business practices and the Consumer Legal Remedies Act. He strongly believes in reducing litigation exposure through alternative dispute resolution, including the use of mediation and arbitration.
 
Public Agency Litigation
Chris focuses on all areas of litigation concerning public entities, including eminent domain, regulatory and statutory enforcement, allegations of civil rights violations and environmental matters. He also works with city attorneys in defending litigation arising from municipal policies, ordinances and resolutions.
 
Health Care Litigation
Chris represents clients in complex health care matters, such as professional negligence, elder and dependent adult abuse, regulatory actions and Health and Safety Code violations. He successfully defends health care providers, including physicians, nurses and residential care , skilled nursing  and mental health facilities in all aspects of litigation.

Chris is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Central districts of California.
