BBK Named Large Employer of the Year by IRWA Chapter 57

On September 4, 2024, Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK) was honored by the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) Chapter 57, the organization’s Inland Empire chapter, with the Large Employer of the Year award. This award recognizes “firms and organizations that actively support their employees as IRWA members, and whose employees in turn support Chapter 57 through participating in chapter events and serving the chapter through their time, energy or sponsorships.”

IRWA Chapter 57 chose BBK for a number of reasons, including the contributions from Mark A. Easter, a member of the firm’s eminent domain practice group, who has provided insight and guidance to the organization’s board. Additional efforts by other BBK professionals Scott Ditfurth, Gregory G. Snarr, Jessica K. Lomakin, Andrew G. Saghian, Holland Stewart, Christopher Moffitt, Marvin I. Cohen, Brittany Reese, Monica Smith and Peggy Barnes (retired) were also recognized and appreciated by the Chapter. The organization noted, “Folks from BBK often volunteer to speak at our luncheons and events, providing our members with key insights and helpful information.”

Established in Los Angeles in 1934, IRWA is a global, member-led organization of professionals within the right-of-way industry whose mission is to improve people's quality of life through infrastructure development.
