Before joining BBK, Ryan practiced as an associate at a Los Angeles firm, where he represented prominent national and international clients in state and federal court in connection with various business litigation and class action matters.

Ryan makes community service a priority, which has led to both philanthropic activities and a legal practice that focuses on public interest law. He was selected to Coro Lead LA’s 2019-2020 program, designed for rising and established professionals to build effective partnerships and gain a new perspective on how to address the many challenges facing Los Angeles.

While attending the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, Ryan served on the board of the Public Interest Law Foundation and as a managing editor of the Los Angeles Public Interest Law Journal. He also served as a law clerk at the Alliance for Children’s Rights and volunteered for the International Refugee Assistance Project, which took him to the Middle East, where he helped refugees from Iraq. He has also volunteered in Ecuador helping homeless children and in New Orleans for the Public Defenders’ Office.

Ryan is admitted to the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and all U.S. District Courts in California.
