BBK’s Amy Hoyt and Gregg Kettles Receive Amicus Service Award by IMLA

Best Best & Krieger LLP Partners Amy Hoyt and Gregg Kettles were recognized during the International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA)’s 2024 Mid-Year Seminar. They were presented with IMLA’s  Amicus Service Award for their briefing efforts before the United States Supreme Court in County of Tulare v. Marguia. This matter involved the reach of 14th Amendment protections applicable to children (and others) who suffer violence at the hands of private individuals after being discharged from the state’s custody system.
