Partner Scott Campbell Named to Irish Legal 100 List
Publication recognizes distinguished U.S. legal professionals of Irish descent
Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK) congratulates Municipal Law Partner Scott H. Campbell on being named to the Irish Legal 100. Each year, the Irish Legal 100 recognizes distinguished U.S. legal professionals of Irish descent. Honorees were welcomed to an award ceremony held on October 17 at the Washington, D.C. home of Geraldine Byrne Nason, Ambassador of Ireland to the United States of America.
Campbell, who leads the firm’s Municipal Law practice, has supervised public works projects involving more than $14 billion in public funding and has represented cities, special districts and community colleges in hundreds of construction projects. In addition to his legal work, he has presented papers at the annual League of California Cities conferences and was appointed a League Partner Policy Committee Liaison for 2020 to the Transportation, Communications and Public Works Committee. Most recently, Campbell was named a Fellow by the Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA) whose membership is limited to 1,200 attorneys who are selected based on their work within and commitment to the construction industry. He is listed as a “Southern California Super Lawyer” for Government and Municipal Law.
Campbell’s paternal grandparents were natives of Co. Galway. He became a dual citizen of the United States and Ireland in 2019.
